Quick start
Five steps from sign-up to a live strategy
No coding required. After these five steps you will have an exchange connected and an automated strategy verified in simulation. Once it behaves the way you expect, you decide whether to switch it to live trading.
The five steps
The first three take about ten minutes. For step four, let the simulation go through a few entries and exits before moving on.
Create an API key on your exchange
Log in to your exchange and create a new key on its API management page. Enable only "Spot trading" and, if you need it, "Futures trading". We also recommend an IP whitelist: the server IP to enter can be copied from the add-key screen in the next step
Do not enable "Withdrawal". Sleep Trading never needs it, and every permission you leave off reduces the damage if the key ever leaksConnect the key to Sleep Trading
Go to "Account & settings → Exchange keys" and press "Add key". Pick the exchange, confirm the permissions, then paste the API key and secret. After saving, press "Verify" and every permission the key actually holds is listed so you can confirm nothing extra is enabled
Your API secret is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it reaches the database and is never shown again after saving. Your funds stay in your own exchange accountCreate a strategy and run it in simulation first
Go to "Trading strategies", press "Add rule", pick a strategy and set its parameters. For your first run use simulation: the strategy follows live prices to decide entries and exits, but no order is sent to the exchange
Simulation uses no funds. Use it to confirm that entries, exits and order sizes are exactly what you intendedSet up notifications, then go live
Connect Telegram, LINE or Discord and fills, strategy starts or stops, and errors are pushed to you in real time. Once the simulated results match your expectations, switch the strategy to live and it starts placing real orders
Every plan can trade live; plans differ in the per-order limit (Free: up to 30 USDT per order). Automated trading does not guarantee profit, so start with money you can afford to lose
